Revenue is Vanity. Profit is sanity. Cash is reality

Revenue is Vanity. Profit is sanity. Cash is reality

Entrepreneurs across Antrim and Newtownabbey are being urged to attend the latest Antrim Enterprise Agency’s Business Bites workshop “Cash Flow Is King” being held on Wednesday 28th March 2018 at 9am.

Cash Flow is King will provide entrepreneurs with a series of top tips on how to manage the cash in their business. It will focus on cash flow management, cash flow budgets and finance options.

“Vital to the long term existence of any business is a strong cash position.  More businesses fail for lack of cash flow than for lack of profit. Quite often business owners are unrealistic in predicting their cash flow.  They often overestimate income and underestimate their expenses which results in them running out of money “explains Simon Hopper, Hopper & Co. Chartered Accountants who is presenting the workshop.

“Cash flow management is imperative for all businesses and this workshop is full of tips on how to manage your budgets, your cash flow and make your money work for you”.

Cash Flow Is King will cover cash flow management, insufficient working capital, funding issues, under/over trading, unplanned growth, poor credit control, cash flow budgets, debtor/creditor days, stress testing and funding options.

Business Bites were created as Antrim Enterprise Agency realised that an intimidating thought for a lot of micro business owners is the area of book-keeping. These events held monthly at the enterprise centre are practical, fun and interactive sessions allowing for much needed business networking opportunities as well as practical book-keeping and finance guidance.

Places on the workshop, (costing £10 including light bites) are limited and can be booked via Eventbrite:  or contacting Nuala McLaughlin directly on 9446 7774 or emailing
